Owning a rather large 4x4 one tends to get in places where a little helping hand... or bumper... comes in handy. Previously I owned another strap (not Keeper) and used it 2 or 3 times helping folks get out of trouble - mainly mud. However one night while driving home I happened upon a Toyota 4Runner that was in a side-of-the-road culvert on its passenger door. There were 2 - uh - ladies in the car and they were freaked. And a little drunk. And "dancers"... late for work (this IS a TRUE story - you can even ask my Bride!). I grabbed my old strap out of the back of my truck and hooked it under the front end of her SUV and then to my truck. I started to pull her out when there was a WHUMP! Uh-oh... NOT good. The strap shredded on me as her SUV settled back into the ditch. I reached into the back seat of my truck and tore open the new Keeper strap that I had received from Amazon literally that morning; tossed the other strap aside, threaded the Keeper on my truck then her SUV and easily pulled her back up onto the road. No muss - no fuss.

The passenger side front tire on her 4Runner was very low so I aired that up with the Slime COMP06 Pro Power Heavy-Duty Tire Inflator and she was pretty much ready to get on with life.

Oh - the most disappointing thing about this entire experience? Neither of them ever said thanks.......
