I debated going with the OEM rubber mats, since the fit would be a known quantity, but decided instead to take a gamble on these from Boomerang.

First a note on model years - these are sold as being designed to fit 2011-2012 but in fact also fit the 2013 perfectly. I assumed there had been no significant changes between 2012 and 2013, and that seems to have been the case. My Fiesta is a 5 speed manual and these fit perfectly, I assume they'd fit the automatic too.

These mats are clearly cut from a bulk roll of material as opposed to being custom molded to fit the vehicle, but that turns out not to be a compromise at all. The surface consists of a series of narrow channels formed by thin vertical "walls", and the space within the channel is filled by a continuous S curve. The curved center serves to contain water and slush and stop it from flowing out the edges - a very clever way of achieving good functionality from a generic material.

Edges are very carefully finished, with the surface channel/S being cut or ground away to leave a smooth lip which gives a very professional look. THis combined with a heavy aluminum manufacturers plate gives a high quality look to the mats; very impressed.

Each mat is perfectly shaped to fit - absolutely no complaints at all. They're heavy with nubbed backing to prevent them from slipping too much on the vehicle carpets. The drivers mat features locking circles that take advantage of the standard mounting posts to stay in place.

So in summary: a clever material very well finished that fits perfectly. What's not to like?
