No trouble in the removal/install process. For a 2000 Tacoma, the inner most nuts (the 17mm ones; all removal nuts were 19mm) are welded to the chassis and can't be removed; also, make sure you get the left/right position correct, else you will have to swap them. The notch in the bar should be forward and down; but there is no indicator as to which goes on the left and which on the right. For the Tacoma, the way to mount the brackets is such that they bow inwards at the back/bumper side, toward the center of the car. Pretty easy though to reverse them, if you guess wrong the first time.
