I needed a front mount hitch for a Kayak rack, This hitch is very well made - it fit exactly into the factory drilled holes of my 2009 Ford F350. I had to cut the air dam as mentioned in the instructions, installation took me less than one hour with the air dam taking longer to cut than installing the actual hitch.

This is not the first Curt product I've bought and I must say that Curt products are very well Engineered with a good finish and solid feel.

The lights are beautiful and really stand out very pleased with the appearance, much better in person the picture does not do them justice. Only 2 things kept me giving them 5 stars, one the post where the factory screws go to secure it are much more shallow than the factory post so the factory screws won't screw in all the way leaving the light loose, you will need to cut them shorter or buy new. The second thing is where one of the light sockets fits in it is impossible to connect after it is installed you need to connect it them install it. Other than that love them.

Curt 15522 XD Receiver Hitch Review

This is a very heavy duty hitch! Well worth the few extra bucks. Steel is at least twice as thick as the stock GM hitch (also claims to be at class V). Mounting holes were perfect. Would recommend to anyone that wants a piece of mind.

These lights have a design issue. I own 2 sets one driving and one fog. The lights, when fully tightened down, will move up and down by simply removing the tightly bound light cover. I cut the light cover's vynal stich to lesson its grip but the lights still move up and down when messed with. Overtighten the nut and the carbon/plastic joint will deform and break! These lights simply will not lock down on up and down movement. I also had an accident where a short was created by a exposed connector where the factory heat shrink broke free and the light burned out. I did not notice this and the other light was on, which I did not know because the cover was on it. I left for the night and later discovered the 1 light had melted/burned the covers and the sealant holding in the light melted/deformed. It is my opinion that this light cannot handle a full duty cycle and will melt/deform the sealing material holding the light in the housing thus exposing the electronics. KC, a highly respected company, has failed with the apollo series lights and should issue recalls. Amazon accepted the return, so far, of the defective lights, thank you Amazon.
