This hitch helps out if you have a truck that sits high. It allows you to adjust to the proper height. Oh by the way mine came with pins and clips so I don't know what the other guy is talking about. The downside is it sticks out further than your regular hitch would and your trailer lights may be to short like mine where. I had to splice in extra wire to make it longer. I use this hitch a lot around the farm and Other then that so far no problems.
