The Bully Side Step is black powder coated 3 inch steel tubing with a non-slip high impact plastic step pad. The side step allows for easy access to the cab of the truck or SUV. There is no drilling required as it uses existing factory holes. All hardware and brackets are included.

I already had chrome tube side steps but wanted to change them out with something black / dark to help complete the "black out" of my truck. I chose these and they are great. All required bolts and braces came with them and they were strong. The reason for four stars is that the bracket system was more complicated than it has to be and not quite as strong as the mounting system that came on the factory (dealer?) mounted side steps. The good news for this is that these will bolt right into the factory mounting hardware and I have the brackets for later if I ever want to use them. The other reason for the four stars is that the driver side fit great and just bolted right in place but the passenger side either got slightly bent (you can't see it with the naked eye) during shipment or was already slightly bent from the factory because when I inserted one of the bolts (end bolts into the flat ends of the tube), the other end aligned to be about 1/4 inch short of the mounting bolt hole. I fixed this issue by slightly tightening the bolt already in place and then applying both feet and some leg strength to bend the tube enough to get the bolt in the other end. The good news is that once you get them mounted, you're done until you want to change them out again or they've been ion place so long that you forget about the mounting problems. Even with the mounting issue, these are still a great buy for the price and they also look great on the truck. I recommend this product.
