I purchased this item along with another product of Third Gear Performance as a Christmas present for someone. Once having it installed and leaving, the truck immediately caught on fire! I then proceeded to spend months, 7 to be exact, trying to receive a refund! I have been given the run around multiple times. They have ignored my emails. They have also replied with, "we will contact you shortly", then never contacted me! (My number was always included in the emails!) And going as far as me talking with a lady on the phone and her telling me that because it was past two months, two months I spent tryingt to contact them, they could no longer return my money for a gift that wouldn't damage someone's vechile. No where on the package did it state, "may catch your truck on fire"! I have asked to speak to a manager twice, both times being told he will tell me the same thing, they have taken my number stating he will call me back, no return calls! This company is outrageous, they know the games they are playing and are not contacting people back because they feel that they can push me off long enough that I will give up. This is not the case, I have wasted money on this useless product, along with the damages it has created! I have contacted the BBB as well as am seeking damages towards the vechile, you have 2 years to file a claim with the courts!!!!! Unless you are a chace taker, I would not recommend this product or this company to anyone!
