The mirror is a good fit, but failed to mentioned "how to get off the skull cap (cover)" to paint it. Granted, you can try to paint it by taping it off to make the job neat.... In my case, I still have the one I took out from my car and would have liked to install it since it's already painted body color. Has anyone tried to remove the skull cap to paint or exchange... if you are successful, please post the how to. It would have been so much easier for the consumer to be given the option to install the skull cap once a decision has been made which option is best. . . paint, exchange/swap out, or just go with the one that is provided. Then again, this is the USA, we stopped thinking....

Follow-up....
This mirror is NOT a "folding" mirror as described in the product description. I now have to send the *%&%^*&()^*(^*^ thing back.... wasted time.
