I took longer to clean the bugs off the hood that it did to install the shield. The holes are already in the hood just hold up the shield and push the provided pins into the holes and your all done.

The reason for 4 stars is because at first gland it doesn't look like this will help keep bugs off the windshield which was the main reason for buying it. I will update after driving around with it for a couple weeks and change rating if needed.

I will say it is pretty much invisible and will do an excellent job at keeping the rock chips off the edge of the hood.
