Ford Mustang Halo Led Black Projector Head Lights Review

These lights give any Mustang a custom and updated look. I highly recommend them IF you are willing to put in some hard labor installing them. They are a pain to install and to adjust. You have to really enjoy your Mustang (like I do) and be willing to take your front bumper off numerous times to get them "just right." I really enjoy the final look but PLEASE let me warn about the extent of work I had to do to get these lights in a usable condition.

If you're going to wire these yourself:
1. Make sure you have all the proper tools and wiring. For me splicing clamps work best. You can get them at RadioShack for cheap (Spec-D offers great tutorials on YouTube to aid with this).
2. Prep the lights by inserting the brightest bulbs you want (because the stock bulbs behind the lens are just not bright enough)
3. Seal the edges of the entire light with SILICONE SEALANT (baking them first in the oven at 250 degrees first helps). If you don't, you'll have major issues with condensation and water pooling inside the lens (SUCH A PAIN). I almost sent these lights back twice.
4. Wipe a generous amount of Vaseline around inside edges of the large rubber boots that cover the light sockets and each L.E.D. plunger to prevent any extra leakage.
5. AVOID HARSH CLEANSERS because I had to get one light professionally sanded when I did this. Soap and water work just fine.
6. Adjust the lights (up/down; left/right) BEFORE you replace the bumper or you'll be sorry. The screws are unreachable once you install the lights and there are virtually no videos to show you how to do this and the adjustment screws are unmarked so you must do your best to align the lights (esp. the projector). Some people have even altered their Mustangs (chop, chop) in order to access these screws more readily. I cannot weld and therefore did not.
7. Lastly, enjoy--I get looks and complements all the time, but I try to put the pain of what I had to go through behind me as much as possible

GOOD LUCK!
