installation -- five stars -- the included instructions are easy to follow. just roll your window down halfway and, with a bit of a flex on the product, it settles right into the window track. done. no tape. no screws. no glue.

fit -- four stars -- it isn't perfect, but its pretty close. it would be tough to make the tolerances much tighter and still hold the expectation that it would work well for every customer. because they do occupy part of the window track, as the window is raised, they compete for space in the window track. the window "bumps" the lead edge of the deflector as it raises and then engages the tapered edge of the deflector as it continues to raise. i find that, with the deflector in place, the window no longer goes up all the way. however, a "seal" is still achieved.

appearance -- five stars -- looks like a factory product.

function -- five stars -- with the windows down a bit (about an inch), when either moving or parked, the car stays dry even in the torrential downpours we get here on the florida coast. likewise, the heat can escape when i leave my car parked in the sun (yes, even in my black-on-black impala). when the windows are down a bit and one is driving, there is a bit of road noise. i'm not sure if the deflector augments or attenuates this noise. however, when the windows are down all the way, the deflectors do seem to cut down on the road noise quite a bit.
